Paint By Sticker Books

I don’t know about your kids, but my kids LOOOOOOVE stickers!! Stickers scare me though…I’m always worried about finding them stuck to the hard wood floors, walls, windows….ahhhhh WINDOWS!!!! Thank God for Goo Gone!

I’ve recently discovered these really cool Paint by Sticker books. They come in animals, mosaics, sea creatures, iconic people, and lots others.

They’re great because even if the kids don’t know all their numbers, they can still find the shapes of the numbers or the shapes of the sticker they are looking for. Sticker placement is wonderful for finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. It helps to build those fine little muscles in fingers that will eventually help kids complete harder tasks/crafts.

I originally bought Wes this ALEX Toys Little Hands My First Mosaic and he loved it. He was horrible at first trying to line the stickers up in the proper places. But over time, he has mastered it and has been able to move onto these paint by sticker books using numbers.

These books are fantastic because they are very time consuming. When we met up with friends for dinner, which going to a restaurant is not something I look forward to with the kiddos, they were all completely absorbed in their sticker books. At one point a waiter came over and said “Wow, these are great!”, which of course made me feel all bubbly inside. The kids can still interact with each other, chime in on conversation, stop to eat, and then finish after. I was more than happy and impressed with these books.
